CPI2-GTRB – Relay Barrier for ATE

This relay barrier is intended for providing galvanic isolation of the target panel from the programmer to radically eliminate influence of the device programmer signals on the target panel being tested. The relay barrier unit can be docked to either A or B programmer’s channel by a 150-pin DIN connector labeled as “CPI2-Gx Device Programmer”. Two 150-pin DIN connectors labeled as “ATE” and “Target” on an opposite side of the unit enable connecting to the tester or the targets. Switching CPI2-Gx signals between the tester (ATE) and target are provided by the programmer through the DIN connector. On both short sides the unit has a pair of power connectors (12 to 18V / 1A). This relay demultiplexer is intended for a) doubling the number of CPI2-Gx’ channels for sequential device programming and b) providing galvanic isolation of the target panel from the programmer. The CPI2-GDMR unit can be docked to either A or B programmer’s channel by a 150-pin DIN connector labeled as “CPI2-Gx Device Programmer”. Two 150-pin DIN connectors labeled as “Target 1” and “Target 2” on an opposite side of the unit enable connecting to the targets. On both short sides the demultiplexer unit has a pair of power connectors (12 to 18V / 1A) and a pair of header CTRL that enable connecting control signals from ATE. Signal Splitter Boards for CPI2-Gx Device Programmers

CPI2-Gx device programmers have a pair of 150-pin DIN connectors for outputting ISP signals to target boards. These connectors, marked as Channel A and Channel B, are located on long side of the programmer unit. To simplify connection to the target by means of simple, easy-to-buy, 20-wire ribbon cables, Phyton offers signal splitter boards which can be docked either directly to CPI2-Gx device programmers or through CPI2-GTRB and CPI2-GDMR relay modules.

This board is used in a combination with CPI2-GDMR relay demultiplexers, only. A CPI2-GDMR unit has a pair of output connectors: TARGET 1 and TARGET 2 toggling by the ATE signal. So, the ISP signals split in two groups of 20-pin connectors – seven connectors in each group: 1 and 2.

If the demultiplexer connects to the A channel, the CPI2-GASB-14/20 splitter board should be used. See the datasheet.
